From AI to SI: Owning the Name, the Narrative, and the Chaos

President Trump officially rebranded Artificial Intelligence to "Super Intelligence" and honestly? I am so here for it. Super Intelligence (SI) sounds strong, feels fantastically human, and just rolls off my tongue and makes our country really own the narrative of winning the technology frontier that will build our future.

One single executive order could reimagine the narrative on Artificial Intelligence, unleashing a new story line that will be packed with epic positive plot twists along the way. Six quick signatures changed the entire conversation and somehow got a room full of hyper-competitive tech CEOs acting like they actually enjoy being within five feet of each other. What a surreal scene!

On September 29, 2026, President Trump signed Executive Order 14434, "Inaugurating the Era of Super Intelligence." It directs federal agencies to swap the words "Artificial Intelligence" and "AI" for "Super Intelligence" and "SI" wherever the law allows. Why? Because "artificial" has a doom and gloom conversation surrounding it! Now the Assistant to the President for Science and Technology has 60 days to whip up an official definition. The whole rebrand hit the Federal Register ready for us to embrace.

A Table Full of Rivals

That same day in September, the White House hosted a Super Intelligence luncheon right in the East Room. Just imagine this setup: the planet's most intense tech titans, people who spend billions trying to completely destroy each other's market share every day, sitting elbow-to-elbow, passing the salt and making small talk!

Six of these Leaders signed a voluntary pledge called the White House Accord on Super Intelligence: Sundar Pichai (Google), Dario Amodei (Anthropic), Mark Zuckerberg (Meta), Greg Brockman (OpenAI), Elon Musk (xAI), and Jensen Huang (Nvidia), with President Trump signing right alongside them!

Six fierce competitors. One page. 7 signatures with one typo.

They should have had SI look at the doc for a quality control check.

Talk about high-octane narrative control! I know a massive power move when I see one, and watching tech moguls sit together and sign a trust pact was pure performance art in shaping the future before it shapes you!

What they actually signed

The Accord lays out four heavy-duty safety layers: internal safety controls, internal review teams, independent outside audits, and board committee oversight, backed by ongoing promises to stay aligned on industry standards. Trump called the whole agreement "morally binding," which is high-level code for "you better behave, or else!"

Afterward, out on the West Wing driveway, the energy was surprisingly positive and upbeat, Jensen Huang hit us with: "There's no conflict between innovation, technology, and safety." Dario Amodei chimed right in, noting "we all need to work together to make sure that we can win and that we can win safely." And Mark Zuckerberg wrapped it up as "a start and an accord that the whole industry could come to."

Let those words sink in: Work together. Win safely. A start. I love it!!!

If the individual leaders building our future can freeze their corporate gladiatorial matches long enough to agree on safety guardrails, maybe we actually have a shot. I am totally all in!

A New Name, and Why Mindset Takes Practice

Just a week earlier at the UN General Assembly, President Trump argued that calling it "artificial" makes it sound cheap and fake, and insisted the tech is "actually amazing."

Here is the truth: vocabulary shapes reality! Changing our language forces us to completely rethink power, control, and progress. Right there on the West Wing driveway, even Elon Musk slipped up, said "AI," and instantly caught himself: "SI, pardon me." If Elon stumbles and says AI, we can give ourselves some grace. But intentionally choosing the name and a winning narrative is step one to owning and winning the next 100 years of human agency, economic value, post-human architecture and beyond.

Why this is our moment

Now, I can already hear the skeptics: "A rebrand? Really? Why are we obsessing over two letters?" I hear you. I beg you all to stop and flip your perspective.

When tech rivals sit at the exact same table and publicly promise to prioritize safety, it snaps us out of that exhausting doom loop of tech panic. It reminds everyone that these frontier models are built by human hands to power human ambition, not the other way around! Let that really sink in!!!

That said, swapping acronyms does not magically fix issues! Your "Super Intelligence" partner still depends entirely on your clarity and direction. Humans are naturally chaotic communicators. True power comes from clarity and precision, knowing exactly what you want so your Super Intelligent partner can go crush it!

Look around...humans have been teachers, directors, delegates, and strategists forever! We have built families, companies, managed chaotic households, massive conferences, hostile boardrooms, and crushed every single crisis in our path, usually all before lunch and sometimes in heels!

That is the whole core of Operation 10x! We are empowering individuals to step straight into this new arena with total confidence, turning SI into an absolute force multiplier. We do not just talk theory, we build agents and workflows. We tackle and solve problems. Check out what we are building over at operation10x.ai, and bring your ideas with you!

Trump changed the acronym. Tech leaders united and swore to safety. Now it is our turn to jump in and drive this narrative home. I am embracing the name "Super Intelligence" with both hands. I am excited and ready for the future. Are you?
